This project in Kinasheri, situated in the heart of Calicut city, was designed for Mr. Shabeer, who has a deep passion for art. The exterior showcases a pure contemporary design, while the interior features a modern and artistic fusion. We used a blend of modern and artistic materials to reflect Mr. Shabeer‘s unique connection to Kerala’s art forms within his home.
As someone who works in the tourism sector, Mr. Shabeer wanted his home to stand out not only in design but also in material. His artistic sensibilities are evident throughout the house. For example, the sofa table resembles a tree root with the table top placed on it, and the dining table is crafted from a square-cut tree top left in its natural form.
By understanding the client’s character and preferences, we tailored the design to perfectly match his artistic tastes.
